Showsec Back To Catching Crowd Surfers for 20th Year Of Bloodstock

20 August 2021

The long-awaited 20th Anniversary of Bloodstock took place this year with an epic return of the live event, after last year’s virtual festival. Showsec was thrilled to be back again, the staff raring to be catching crowd surfers once more!

Rising to the challenges that came with this year’s event, the UK’s biggest independent metal festival went ahead over three days with 20,000 in attendance over the weekend. With headliners, Devin Townsend, Kreator and Judas Priest (celebrating 50 years of the band), there was no way this festival wouldn’t go down as an epic return to Catton Park for their 20th year.

Showsec provided a specialised service this year, with focus on the Main Stage, and the Ronnie James Dio Stage. Showsec Area Manager for East Midlands, Joe Milner said of the event:

“Showsec was so pleased for the Bloodstock team that the festival was able to take place this year and proud to be a part of their 20th anniversary. We really appreciate the hard work from all the staff involved that made the event such a success.”

With metal heads flooding in from all across the UK, it seemed all had a great time, and we can’t wait for the next one!

If you missed out this year, you can book for Bloodstock 2022 now but get there fast as VIP camping has already sold out! Tickets can be found here.
