Showsec and SWG3 Extend Contract
After a successful year at the venue, Showsec are delighted to announce a contract extension has been agreed at SWG3 in Glasgow.
The versatility of the venues four main event spaces means the venue is able to hold an array of events from club nights to exhibitions, corporate events and private events.
As well as the indoor capacity, the venue also holds an outdoor arena, The Yard, for live music events which has seen the likes of Miles Kane, The Foals and The Doves perform.
As the venue plans to grow with further expansion for the complex in 2020, Showsec’s partnership with the venue continues to grow from strength to strength.
Jonathan Dawson, General Manager, SWG3 said, “The venue has gone through a period of radical growth and expansion over the past 18 months and Showsec have offered stability during this period. Their wealth of experience from senior management to staff have dovetailed into our operations, enhancing the safety, crowd management and customer experience.”
Running the security both indoor and outdoor, Showsec offer an array of services to the venue from planning and management consultancy to ingress and egress management and much more.
Showsec has worked with SWG3 to improve venue operational processes to support and enhance its offering to clients and customers alike.
Area Manager for Central Scotland, Gary McGuire, said, “Being part of the SWG3 team for the past year has been extremely rewarding as the venue has developed into one of Scotland’s most exciting venues.

The contract extension also enables further working opportunities to those that live in the area as Showsec is recruiting additional staff.
