Bristol came alive for the glorious return of the Harbour Festival 2022

Bristol was bursting with colour and jubilation for the first Harbour Festival in three long years. Around 250 boats docked in Bristol’s historic waters over the 3-day festival, from tall ships to small wooden boats arriving from as far afield as Germany! The 12 stages, all within walking distance of the harbourside, offered a wide-ranging programme of colourful entertainment. The festival celebrates the city’s proud maritime heritage every year since 1971 and attracts around 300,000 people a year and is typically held over a weekend at the end of July or the beginning of August.
