Join us and you’ll be part of a fast-paced team that is a key function to the success of Showsec. The role provides a front-line support service to national operations teams through engagement, co-ordination, first touch resolution of the staffing database. The Department is open six days a week. The hours are set according to business needs and may vary throughout the year on a rota.

What you will be doing

  • Be the first line of support for our Casual Workforce—provide friendly, professional customer service and first contact resolution
  • Support casual workers with Showsec App issues by guiding them through the process step-by-step, encouraging independent navigation rather than manual shift booking
  • Manage operational change requests (such as late increase, decreases, or cancellations)
  • Create engaging adverts that attract and mobilise our casual workforce to book on upcoming shifts
  • Find efficient solutions to critical issues, using data, judgment, and collaboration to keep delivery on track
  • Follow our communication procedures, guidelines and policies, providing timely, appropriate solutions and alternatives when queries arise
  • Work with Operations to secure the final percentage of shifts—agreeing strategies such as splitting shifts out of area coverage, arranging transport when margins allow, and, where needed, engaging approved labour providers—so every event is staffed
