Purchase Ledger Clerk, Leicester
Showsec has a fantastic opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to play a key role in our Finance department. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our accounts payable function and for maintaining a reliable and efficient purchase ledger system.

What you will be doing
- Process invoices and credit notes.
- Preparation of supplier payments runs and dealing with payment requests.
- Maintaining supplier account records.
- Ensure invoices coded and inputted correctly.
- Assist with queries from supplier.
- Process expenses and credit card expenses.
- Electronic filing of all paperwork.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements to the accounts system.
- Checking bank account and company information for any new payees.
- Month end tasks.
- Perform ad hoc administrative work for the accounts department.

What we need from you
- Right to Work in the UK**
- Maths GCSE or equivalent (C or above)**
- English GCSE or equivalent (C or above)**
- Competent understanding of Microsoft Platforms; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook Email
- Proficient in written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work to a tight deadline within a fast-paced environment.
