eLearning Team Leader
The eLearning Team Leader is responsible for the planning, delivery, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of Showsec’s digital learning provision for casual and employed staff. The role leads the eLearning function, ensuring digital learning solutions are operationally relevant, accessible, compliant, and aligned with business and accreditation requirements.
The post holder will line manage the eLearning Administrator(s), support the Training Manager in the strategic development of digital learning, and work closely with Trainers, Recruitment, and Operations to ensure training interventions support workforce readiness.
A strong focus on learner experience, data accuracy, innovation, project management, and continuous improvement is essential.
What you will be doing
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of all eLearning and blended learning programmes for casual and employed staff
- Ensure digital learning content supports operational readiness, compliance, and Showsec values
- Oversee the maintenance, structure, features, accessibility and usability of the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Work proactively with Trainers and subject matter experts to translate operational training into effective digital learning solutions
- Analyse learner feedback and performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of digital learning interventions and implement improvements
- Carry out internal quality assurance of eLearning content and assessments, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with internal and external standards
- Support on commercial aspirations
- Ensure training records and learner data within Smartg8/LMS systems are accurate, current, and auditable
- Produce and adapt reports and develop insights from learning data to inform decision-making and drive improvements in delivery and processes
- Line manage the eLearning Administrators, allocating workloads, setting priorities, and providing day to day supervision
- Use regular 1 to 1s, performance reviews, and feedback to support individual development and ensure team objectives are met
- Attending training courses and operational events to support the department with course development where required
- Recording, monitoring and managing absence, sickness and annual leave and communicating with HR as appropriate
- Provide support to Trainers and learners with digital platforms, assessments, and learning resources
- Respond professionally and effectively to queries and complaints relating to eLearning provision
- Support the Training Manager with wider training initiatives and projects as required
- Contribute to cross departmental working
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the post as directed by Training Manager

What we need from you
- Right to work in the UK**
- Maths GCSE or equivalent (C or above )**
- English GCSE or equivalent (C or above )**
- Experience leading or coordinating eLearning or digital training provision
- Strong understanding of learning management systems and digital learning
- Experience of analysing training data and using insights to improve learning outcomes
- Proven people management or team leadership experience
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
