Showsec Renews Membership of UK Crowd Management Association

22 April 2021

The United Kingdom Crowd Management Association (UKCMA) was formed in 2001 to represent the interests of key commercial organisations whose primary business is providing crowd management and event security services and founding member Showsec is pleased to renew its membership for another year.

Membership of the UKCMA is subject to specific criteria and is carefully vetted to maintain high standards as the UK’s leading professional body in Crowd Management. Over 60 professional companies within the industry form the UKCMA. Their efforts are completely voluntary and have worked collectively to enhance the safety of millions of attendees at events annually.

With a mission to improving standards relating to public safety, the UKCMA provides a forum for members to address the emerging challenges facing the industry and offers a voice for crowd management professionals. With cuts to public sectors, terrorism and ever-tightening budgets, the challenges for keeping crowds safe have escalated year on year and the fight for public safety is continuously evolving.
