Showsec Extend Contract with Roundhouse
Showsec are excited to share the news that we have extended our contract with the Roundhouse for an additional three years. Having worked at the iconic venue since 2006 following a refurb, the Showsec team have worked thousands of events for a variety of performances and clients.
From One Direction to Katy Perry, Elton John, Lady Gaga and Alicia Keys, the converted railway engine shed in Chalk Farm has welcomed an array of famous faces and legendary artists to its stage.
As one of the most incredible live performance spaces in the world, the Roundhouse boasts a 3,000-person capacity and Showsec provide crowd management and security services headed up by Operations Executive, Sam Bacon.
Daily duties for Showsec at the Roundhouse involve the management of the site security which includes 24-hour cover of the building’s reception, yard and patrols. The reception operation has evolved from a 2-man position to a rostered team of 8. They regularly receive positive recognition from customers, promotors and venue management for their high levels of customer service.
The venue can also be hired out for corporate events which sees Showsec contracted directly by the event organisers. Operations Executive, Elie Nammour, heads up this operation with much repeat business returning year on year reflective of the team’s exceptional service.
Showsec work with each client to create a bespoke, solution-driven model of services to meet their requirements in the venues adaptable, multi-purpose space. From the safe ingress and egress of visitors, experienced front of stage teams, securing of the site and adapting to a variety of unique events, Showsec deliver an excellent customer experience alongside the Roundhouse’s own valued usher teams.
