Delighted to Share Our Investors in People Accreditation

Following an assessment under the new 6^th generation standards, we’re delighted to announce that Showsec has received Investors in People accreditation until 2021.

Commencing in October, the assessment involved interviewing members of our staff, completing surveys and included observations of our learning and development sessions.

Excellent leadership was recognised across the business, alongside a brilliant Management Development Programme in both its design and delivery which received praise from the examiners. The constant support given to our workforce and the recent improvements to learning and development has contributed towards creating both a collaborative and supportive learning environment for staff to engage and participate in.

The external assessor commented in her report that “people at Showsec clearly enjoy their work supported by the strong, positive working relationships that thrive at all levels. It was evident that staff are motivated to ensure the customer experience they provide is the best they can deliver.”

Michelle Abdale, Head of HR, commented “I would like to thank those employees who participated in the assessment. This is a fantastic achievement, and highlights to us what Showsec are doing well as an organisation to invest in our workforce.

“We are evaluating the feedback received and are producing a developmental plan with the assessor. This will provide the HR and Learning and Development team with focus to continually improve as a business and invest in our workforce over the next 12 months.”
