Commercial Marketing Coordinator
As Commercial Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting Showsec’s commercial activities by coordinating tender and bid opportunities, delivering marketing campaigns, supporting sales activity, protecting brand integrity, and contributing to wider business development objectives. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate relevant experience, skills and knowledge in a commercial marketing environment, and we welcome applications from candidates who have developed their expertise through relevant professional experience.

What we need from you
- Right to work in the UK**
- Maths GCSE or equivalent (C or above )**
- English GCSE or equivalent (C or above )**
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft, edit and proofread accurate, professional content
- Good understanding of the tender and bid coordination process, with the ability produce high-quality submissions that meet requirements
- Commercially-minded, with a good understanding of sales and CRM processes, with high attention to detail and the ability to analyse information and recognise trends.
- Good working knowledge of marketing, social media and communications practices, with the ability to coordinate content and campaigns across appropriate channels and strictly adhere to brand guidelines.
- The ability to build effective working relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders to support effective collaboration and communication

What you will be doing
- Support the development and coordination of company tenders and bids, ensuring accurate company information is included, and all submissions are completed to a professional and high-quality standard.
- Effectively drive the company sales pipeline, generate sales reports and ensure enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate client and company database records and support the development and implementation of the company CRM.
- Ensure tender resource libraries, case studies and standard responses remain current.
- Support the delivery of PR and communications activities, including monitoring industry news, identifying publicity opportunities, and drafting and editing content for press releases, industry publications, and award submissions.
- Support the development of client and stakeholder relationships, identifying commercial and marketing opportunities and fostering effective collaboration and communication.
- Coordinating and monitoring the company’s external social media platforms and ensure these are updated regularly and in line with brand language, including posting, engagement and interactions. The role is on a rota for monitoring company social media channels during out of office hours.
- Support the design and delivery of Showsec marketing projects and campaigns, implementing the departmental strategies and measuring commercial impact through effective reporting processes.
- Oversee internal and external communications activity, including customer enquiries, internal mail, feedback and complaints, ensuring all responses are delivered professionally and align with Showsec’s brand values, policies and internal procedures.
- Ensuring all tender, marketing and communications activity is in line with company policies and brand guidelines.
- Support the day-to-day administration of the Marketing and Commercial Department.
- Any other duties commensurate with the post, as directed by the Marketing and Commercial Development Manager.
